Work in Culture (WIC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the arts and culture sector since 1998. Our mission is to empower artists, creatives, and cultural workers from diverse backgrounds by providing them with the tools and resources needed to advance their careers. We focus on fostering entrepreneurial skills development and conducting innovative research to support both individuals and the organizations that engage them. WIC serves a wide-ranging arts and culture sector, which includes various disciplines such as visual arts, dance, music, theatre, and literary arts. We also engage with cultural industries like design, digital media, film, and publishing. With over 274,000 artists and cultural workers in Ontario, our organization is committed to supporting their professional growth. We provide training, resources, and networking opportunities to help individuals and organizations thrive in a dynamic cultural landscape.
